1. 1964 VIN Plate is located on the left front door hinge pillar. It is between the upper and lower hinge.

Since there is no designator for the GTO option in the VIN, one way to verify that you have a GTO is check the factory build sheet, it will show option code RPO 382 for the GTO option if it is installed.
